This website is operated by CatholicCare Sydney (CCS) on behalf of the Living Well Dying Well collaboration (LWDW). These terms govern your use of this website including your use of any materials, information and services which may be made available to you from this website.

CCS, as directed by LWDW, may amend these terms at any time by posting such changes on the website. All participants of the Living Well Dying Well collaboration (CatholicCare Sydney, Catholic Healthcare, CatholicCare Broken Bay, Catholic Cemeteries + Crematoria, St Vincents Health Australia, University of Notre Dame) – known as the LWDW, respects and upholds your right to privacy protection under the Australian Privacy Principles in regulating how the program collects, uses, discloses and holds your personal information. The LWDW will only collect personal information by lawful and fair means. Only authorised LWDW staff have access to your personal information and your information remains confidential and is only used for appropriate purposes in accordance with this policy.

Why we are collecting your personal information

Your personal information, is only collected as is reasonably necessary for the LWDW to provide the LWDW support and information to the community and support individuals to seek further information or apply for volunteering opportunities across the LWDW individual member organisations. If you do not provide the personal information that the LWDW requests, the Collaboration may not be able to meet your request or provide appropriate support to you.



The LWDW may use your personal information to send you information about services and programs available across its individual member organisations. This may include invitations to special events and fundraising programs. Each time members of the LWDW send you this type of communication they will provide you with their Privacy & Data Collection Statement and a simple way to ‘opt out’ of receiving communications in the future.

2. Access to the website

Access to this website is permitted on a temporary basis and CCS on behalf of LWDW, reserve the right to withdraw, amend or restrict access to any part of this website without notice. CCS on behalf of LWDW, shall not be liable if for any reason this website, or any other site to which it links, is not available for any reason.

2.1 You may create hypertext link to this website (“Link”) provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal, does not damage or take advantage of the reputation of CCS, the LWDW or individual member organisations of the collaboration. 3.1 CCS on behalf of LWDW, and our licensors retain all rights, title and interest in and to this website and the information and materials published or posted on this site. These works are protected by intellectual property rights and your use is strictly restricted as set out in these terms.

4. Interactive Services

4.1 CCS on behalf of LWDW may from time to time provide interactive services on the website, including, without limitation chat rooms, bulletin boards, social media and/or blogs (together “Interactive Services”).

4.2 CCS on behalf of LWDW are under no obligation to oversee, monitor or moderate any of the Interactive Services on the website, and CCS on behalf of LWDW expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of such service, whether the service is moderated or not. CCS on behalf of LWDW reserve the right to delete, take-down or suspend access to any content transmitted to or published via the Interactive Services at any time.

4.3 You must be over the age of 18 to access and use our Interactive Services.

4.4 You may only use the Interactive Services for lawful purposes. You may not use such services to transmit or publish any content which:
